The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an evidence-based educational program developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Heart Association (AHA). This comprehensive training equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills required to perform neonatal resuscitation in the delivery room and beyond.
The course combines online learning (to be done prior to attending this course) with hands-on simulation and team-based practice to reinforce key concepts, including effective ventilation, chest compressions, medication administration, and coordinated team response. It is designed for physicians, midwives, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers involved in newborn care.
