This course will cover the basics of the computers, networks, and interfaces that make it possible to use live, up-to-date maps in the field. The course will include discussions of hardware, software, databases, GIS, Asset Management, Work Order Management, and other common uses of software during electrical field work. The student will leave with an understanding of how to use, understand, and update various electronic tools.
