CET 1300 - Intro to Electrical Training
Learn basic electrical theory, and safety. Also review some basic electrical code and use them in hands-on labs on campus.

CET 1200 - Utah 2023 NEC and Electrical Theory Training
Students will review NEC current codes as well as amendments made to the current code cycle. In addition, students will get a comprehensive review of electrical theory calculations.

CET 1100 - Utah Journeyman Test Prep - Practical
Students will learn the following: Conduit bending principles such as 3 point and 4 point saddles, installation of 3 way and 4 way switches, basic wiring principles to wire up a doorbell, how to set a torque wrench, basic connections on a transformer, and reading a line diagram to hook up a motor control circuit

CET 1000 - Basic Automotive Alignment Training
The Basic Automotive Alignment Course will use the Hunter Alignment System. We will cover basic alignment angles, what they mean, what they pertain to in relationship to driving, pulling and tire wear. This includes how to perform an alignment pre check, gather ride height measurements along with addressing non alignment concerns and problems. This is through understanding effects and what to look for. You will learn how to set the vehicle up on the alignment rack safely, how to install heads on the wheels correctly and compensate for correct machine readings, and how to make adjustments and what angles are adjustable for each specific vehicle.

STT 1110 - Private Pilot Ground Training
The Private Pilot Ground Training course provides students with the foundational knowledge required to become a licensed private pilot. This comprehensive program covers the essential principles of aviation, regulations, navigation, meteorology, flight operations, and aerodynamics. The course is designed to prepare students for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test and to equip them with the understanding needed for safe and effective flight operations.
Prerequisites: No prior aviation experience is required. Basic knowledge of Mathematics and English is recommended. You must obtain a Private Pilot FAA Medical Certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). https://www.faa.gov/pilots/amelocator Upon Completion: Upon successful completion of the Private Pilot Ground Training course, students will have acquired the knowledge necessary to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test. This course serves as a mandatory stepping stone prior to attending a flight school to obtain a private pilot certificate. (Equivalent to a learners permit for drivers ed.) |
